As one of Walt Disney World's Water Parks, Blizzard Beach's
offers premium water rides for the entire family.
World renown for one of the tallest water slides, the 95-acre Blizzard Beach features
more than 12 rides including slides, tubes, rafts, and pools.
According to legend, a bizzare snow storm dumped a blanket of white snow over
an old ski resort in Florida creating icy water-ways, frozen toboggan slopes,
and high speed slalom courses. As the temperature rose rapidly,
an opportunistic alligator clad in a hat and scarf gleefuly glided down
the ski slope shouting "whoopiiiiii" splashing in a pool of icy water at the
base of the mountain. As the slippery slushy slopes and waterways melted,
the old resort transformed itself into a world-renown water park enjoyed by

Drop 12-stories at 50 - 60 mph from the Summit Plummet,
join the gang on the teamboat as you ride down a series of cascading waterfalls,

Typhoon Lagoon, a 61-acre water amusement park, is located
in the Heart of Walt Disney World Orlando.
Featuring one of the largest wave pools across the country,
Disney's Typhoon Lagoon self acclaimed water park offers
a fun-filled day of thrilling rides.
According to Legend, a furious unrelenting typhoon swept through the Atlantic
collecting boats, surfboards and anything in it's path. While making landfall
on the quaint thatch-roofed village nestled along the shores of the
sparkling lagoon, the fierce storm unloaded her aweful burden upon the village.
Caught in the twisting tides of the merciless typhoon,
surboards were tossed into palm trees, boats were hoised by waves onto the beach,
and the impaled shrimp boat Miss Tilly traveling from Safen Harbor.
driven hard by the stormed now sits haplessly perched atop Mount Mayday.
Every now and then the mountain attempts to dislodget its unwelcome burden
with a 50 foot flume causing Miss Tilly's whistle to blow.
